Coming Up: RUOK? Day is on September 8

Content borrowed from the RUOK August 26 Newsletter.

R U OK?Day is fast approaching. Thursday 8 September is our National Day of Action when we remind Australians to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation to support those in their world through life’s ups and downs.

RUOK has added new videos, posters and presentation templates for you to download free from their website. Let’s remind everyone that you don’t need to be an expert to have an R U OK? conversation, because listening and giving your time to family, friends and colleagues might be just what they need to help them through a tough time.

Ask R U OK? – No qualifications needed.

R U OK?Day Virtual Event

At 12pm on 8 September, tune in to the FREE nationwide virtual event to hear from guests including R U OK? Community Ambassadors who will share personal stories and tips for how to have a meaningful conversation. This event will be accessible for those who experience hearing difficulties.
