Empowr mobility are another step closer to demonstrating the most effective way to support young drivers to become safe drivers is to help them to access newer safer vehicles and mentor them to adopt safer driving behaviours.
Road Safety Program – NSW Pilot
Empowr Mobility, in partnership with Essential Energy and proudly funded by Transport for NSW, has developed a new approach to helping young people access safer vehicles.
The Road Safety Program – NSW Pilot has been formed under Transport for New South Wales’s Towards Zero Initiative. In partnership with Essential Energy we aim to provide safe, reliable and affordable vehicles to disadvantaged young people in outer suburban and regional NSW. The Program also aims to continually educate and inform the drivers to sustain or improve their road behaviour through use of the CAR[A] mobile app. The app provides objective data based feedback on their driving and hints and tips for ways they can improve their actual driving behaviours, and become safer drivers.
