NRSPP welcomes a new summer research intern, Seun Adenipekun from Monash University to the team!

Seun will be working on a range of projects such as the development of two new Q&A’s: DIDO Workers and Eco-Safe Driving. He will also be conducting the research for the 2022 Organisational Road Safety Campaign to be released during Road Safety Week next year.

A core element of NRSPP is its research and data collection, for which we rely on an intern program with Program Partner Monash University. NRSPP’s small budget goes a long way through our collaborative approach and partner support. This approach provides a chance to grow emerging students into being passionate about road safety by investigating relevant, topical issues in the transport industry.

Seun is in his second year of studying Masters in Public Health at Monash University. “I have a keen interest in improving health through safety promotion” he says. This gives him the drive to be part of the NRSPP to help contribute to improved road safety in Australia.

“I hope that this program will enhance my knowledge of road safety”. Seun explains how he  hopes to extend the knowledge he acquires at NRSPP to improve the condition of low-income countries such as Nigeria where he grew up.

We are very excited to welcome Seun to NRSPP and look forward to watching him grow and develop his skills in research.
