Australians are discovering more than ever just how amazing their own country is. One of the positive side effects of COVID-19 is that we are staying and exploring local.

With over 740,000 RVs registered in Australia, there has never been a better time to tackle RV road safety. But hitting the road for leisure is not just as simple as “Let’s load up and head out!”; it takes a bit of planning.

NRSPP’s Program Partner, the Campervan & Motorhome Club Of Australia CMCA) has developed rvSafe to create a hub of RV-related safety information to help the travelling public remain safe on our roads. Having a break is great, but doing it safe and returning home safe is crucial, and these new resources will help.

Visit www.rvsafe.com.au and find all the important information you need to know about RV weights, towing, overtaking and more!

So if you’re heading away for Easter – what a great way to start ensuring you’re ready to safely hit the road.

Remember road safety is shared responsibility, be it at work, leisure or commute. We all need to do our part to protect each other.

The program is funded by the Federal Government.
