The National Centre of Excellence (NACoE) and RoadTek are working together to better improve safety at roadworks. NACoE is a collaboration between the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

NACoE invites persons who are involved with planning, executing, supervising or working under traffic management arrangements in Queensland to participate in a survey. Completing this survey will help NACoE and RoadTek to better understand the demographics of traffic controllers, existing practices on site, the interactions with members of the public, and areas of concern at sites.

This survey is limited to persons conducting short-term roadworks or mobile line marking convoy operations within Queensland. We welcome contributions from:

  • RoadTek employees & labour hire
  • RoadTek traffic control sub-contractors
  • TMR employees & labour hire
  • Council workers
  • Traffic management industry
  • Any other person who may provide insightful survey responses

If you have already participated in a one-on-one phone interview with our project team please do not complete this survey.

The survey formally closes at 5pm on 30 June 2020.
