Providing Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) such as coaching, counselling, and more for the benefit of employees is quickly becoming the industry norm. However, they remain chronically underutilised by employees despite being readily available with some sources citing that less than 10% of Australian employees with access to these services are utilising them. While evidence so far has shown a number of likely benefits and cost-efficiency of EAPs, organisations are paying for these services to be provided while they are being regularly unused.

This research aims to better understand why employees do or do not use these resources that their organisations provide. Organisations can participate by sending out the link below through your employee network. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey is confidential and responses will be anonymous. A brief summary of the aggregated results can be made available upon the conclusion of the research if requested.
