23 May, Melbourne:  1 Convention Centre Place South Wharf VIC 3006

For the inaugural #SafetyScape, NRSPP will be holding a half day Grey Fleet Safety Management workshop designed to help organisations better manage risk associated with their Grey Fleet. #SafetyScape provides an opportunity for all industries working across the wider health and safety profession to come together, exchange ideas and explore industry trends. The inaugural 2018 #SafetyScape Convention will enable an array of organisations to assemble as Victoria’s largest gathering of Health & Safety Industry professionals across a week long program of events, workshops, forums, seminars and conferences. Attending #SafetyScape incurs a cost, and numbers a limited, so make sure you get in quick!

Grey Fleet is a term used to describe the work use of any vehicle not directly provided by the organisation that employs the driver. Grey Fleet risk management is a complex process and this workshop will provide participants with a number of key strategies to ensure improved safety management of Grey Fleet operations. The workshop is designed as an interactive process to enable participants to apply these strategies to their own unique Grey Fleet and operations.

The Grey Fleet Safety Management Workshop will include the following key content and concepts. Understanding the Legal Implications by Associate Professor Tania Leiman, Flinders University includes: General hypotheticals where workshop attendees participate and explore scenarios that relate to their organisation; what is the law and why based on research paper commissioned by NRSPP; and a hypothetical session based on scenarios that relate specifically to organisations / sectors in the room.
