NRSPP Achievements April 2022
- The NRSPP Utilities Forum will be held on the 9 and 10 November in Melbourne kindly hosted by APA Group.
- NRSPP held three webinars during March which included and featured:
- Growing a Safety Culture presented by Brett Rutledge of SenseMap
- CLOCS Q&A presented by Andy Brookes, Program Director of CLOCS UK.
- Fatigue Safety Tech presented by Dr Darren Wishart of Griffith University
- The new NRSPP Eco-Safe Driving Tool Box Talk was released which is featuring as part of 2022 Monash University Green Impact program.
- The new NRSPP Easter Road Safety Tool Box Talk was released with updated information and a new look.
- NRSPP Program Director Jerome Carslake and MUARC’s Associate Professor Sharon Newnam facilitated a workshop at IPEWA Australasian Fleet Conference 2022 on 29 March exploring a benchmarking framework for local government.
- Driving Health Event #6: Solutions Session was held on 30 March and included NRSPP Program Director Jerome Carslake with Ruth Oakden and Ross Iles.
- Jerome Carslake presented to the Finance Industry Group (FIG) on Grey Fleet Management, Empowr Mobility and a what a FIG version of the Utilities Forum could look like.
- Re:act road safety program for 2022 commenced in WA through Curtain University with industry partners including NRSPP, RAC and Road Safety Commission.
- NRSPP Heavy Vehicle Tool Box Talk branding is finalised, first five packages finalised with the first to be released May. Email Jerome at jerome.carslake@monash.edu to register your interest.
- CLOCS-A related project appoints Swinburne University Strategic Communication and Planning Masters Student Rohan Gerrard to support the Technical Group 4: Communications and Advocacy.
- NRSPP through MUARC kicked off a new industry project with the Truck Industry Council (TIC) on 23 March. The project explores what a framework could entail for assessing the direct/indirect vision in trucks and features Final Year Project student Andy Hua and Esther Chew, who is completing a 20-week placement as part of her Bachelor of Psychology. Andy and Esther are supervised by David Logan and Amanda Stephens respectively.
- Swinburne University through iMove Cooperative Research Centre commenced the scoping of the CLOCS-A Journey Location and Member Identifier Harmonisation Project.
