In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) are mandatory for both heavy and light vehicles operating in rural or remote areas, by Safer Together member companies and their contractors. The purpose of this document is to outline a high-level minimum standard, in order for Safer Together member companies and IVMS providers to refer to when specifying requirements for IVMS.
This Specification is intended for operators and contractor partner companies participating in Safer Together, applying to both Heavy and Light Vehicles undertaking operations participating in Safer Together.
