Integrity Sampling has shared its Victorian Industry Drug and Alcohol Statistics Data 2013 and 2014 with NRSPP to help provide insights into what their testing stats reveal.
Summary – DRUG DETECTIONS RATIO
- Of 8744 employees tested and 286 Laboratory confirmed drug and alcohol results.
- Demonstrates an overall ratio of – 1/30 employees test positive to AOD in the workplace.
- Recent Australian Drug Foundation survey found that 1 in 10 of those surveyed admitted to using or being affected in the workplace of AOD’S (Alcohol and Other Drugs)
RISK FACTOR 1/18
This chart demonstrates of those 642 employees tested for AOD in the workplace. 4% were detected as confirmed positive . This is 29 employee’s indicating a ratio of 1/18 are positive in the Other various Industries.
