Integrity Sampling Victoria Industry Drug and Alcohol Statistics Data 2013 and 2014

Integrity Sampling has shared its Victorian Industry Drug and Alcohol Statistics Data 2013 and 2014 with NRSPP to help provide insights into what their testing stats reveal.

Summary – DRUG DETECTIONS RATIO

  • Of 8744 employees tested and 286 Laboratory confirmed drug and alcohol results.
  • Demonstrates an overall ratio of – 1/30 employees test positive to AOD in the workplace.
  • Recent Australian Drug Foundation survey found that 1 in 10 of those surveyed admitted to using or being affected in the workplace of AOD’S (Alcohol and Other Drugs)

RISK FACTOR  1/18

This  chart demonstrates of those 642 employees tested for AOD in the workplace. 4% were detected as confirmed positive .  This is 29 employee’s indicating  a ratio of 1/18  are positive in the Other various Industries.

  • This  chart demonstrates of those 2789  employees tested for AOD in the workplace. 3% were detected as confirmed positive .
  • This is 93 employee’s indicating  a ratio of 1/29 are positive in the Transport  Industry
