NRSPP welcomes our newest partner WomenCAN Australia, we look forward to working with you!
WomenCAN Australia was set up in 2019 to help women get skills and jobs, often having been out of the paid workforce for years giving care to others. We provide free training and guaranteed jobs, through collaborations with employers and registered vocational training institutions. Road safety is fundamentally important to us; one of our key programs is called Driving to Employment! This initiative supports women to learn to drive, including paying for up to 10 hours with a professional driving instructor, linking them with Driver Mentor Volunteers where possible, paying VicRoads testing fees, and providing them with the peer support needed to succeed. Some have become bus drivers for Dysons Group. All have advanced on the road to financial independence.
