Work-related road safety is increasingly regarded as a vital issue for a wide range of private companies. Vehicles used in the course of employment are a part of the workplace and it has been estimated that work related road crashes in Australia account for about half of all occupational fatalities and 15% of national road deaths. Further, fleet vehicles are generally sold to private buyers within a few years.
