This Guide does not have the same evidentiary status as a code of practice, but provides practical guidance for persons conducting a business or undertaking on how to manage risks that may arise from traffic movements at construction workplaces.
This guide does not provide traffic management guidance for construction work on or near a public road. Persons conducting a business or undertaking should contact the local road authority for the relevant traffic management requirements and guidelines. Where relevant, this information should be included in a traffic management plan.
