As a part of the event, the Partnership would like to recognise leadership excellence under the following elements of Towards Zero:
- Safe Roads
- Safe Speeds
- Safe Vehicles
- Safe People
The Partnership invites anyone in the community from the public or private sectors to make a submission for an outstanding best practice initiative that has helped advance road safety and/or reduce road trauma. A winning entry will be selected under each of the four categories of Safe Roads, Safe Speeds, Safe Vehicles and Safe People. The winners will be announced at the Towards Zero Road Safety Leadership Symposium Awards Dinner on 26th August 2015 and each winner will receive a trophy and $500 prize money.
