The aim of this report is to scope the availability of good practice material on the occupational health and safety of taxi drivers and chauffeurs, a category that includes:
- licensed cab drivers
- unregulated ‘minicabs’
- limousine drivers
- company chauffeurs
This report presents examples of good practice guidelines, risk prevention recommendations and intervention examples. The guidelines cover many different risks for taxi drivers and others who drive cars for a living, not just road safety. The report does not pretend to be completely comprehensive, but provides a flavour of the range of guidance about preventing risks to taxi drivers that is
available in some member states.
