The NRSPP was called as an expert witness in late September to the Joint Select Committee and was represented by Program Director, Jerome Carslake, and MUARC Quality Manager, Associate Professor Sharon Newnam.

In the past 12 months, NRSPP webinar presence has significantly grown:

NRSPP delivered nine webinars with our partners such as Case Studies on BINGO Industries, Grasshopper Environmental and Sutherland Shire Council and our towing trip ready panel.

Program Director Jerome Carslake participated in six webinars on workplace road safety through RACV, IPEWA, TfNSW, Bulk Tanker Association of Australia, LGPro and ANZSOM.

NRSPP conducted six of our previous webinars for ComfortDelGro Australia drivers on Aggression, Sleep/Fatigue and Mindfulness as part of October’s Safe Work Month.

Transport for NSW won the prestigious 2021 3M-ACRS Diamond Road Safety Award for their Road Safety in Your Workplace program, the collaboration behind this project included Essential Energy, NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority and linking to NRSPP Tool Box Talks.

The Austroads/NRSPP collaborative project Prevention of Suicide in Road Transport involved over 100 partners and has been submitted to Austroads and is set to be published in early 2022.
