What is Re:act?

Re:act Social Impact Pty Ltd conducts the annual Re:act road safety behaviour change program in Australia and internationally. Re:act is a program that challenges university and college students to raise awareness of road safety issues facing 17-25 year olds, change behaviours and make all road users safe.

What sector does Re:act operate within?

Road safety education.

What does road safety mean to Re:act?

Road safety is at the core of our operations. Re:act is unique in that it gives young people a ‘voice’ in road safety, giving them the opportunity to create road safety behaviour change campaigns aimed at educating and changing behaviour and creating safe practices on and around our roads for a segment of the population that is over-represented in road trauma statistics but typically hard to reach and engage with road safety campaigns.

What action(s) could Re:act do to support road safety through the NRSPP & by when?

1. Run 8-9 programs in Australia across TAFE and Universities.

2. Run a program in the USA.

3. Continue to engage industry and government with road safety education and awareness for young people.
