Driving Safety Forward: Utilities Forum 2.0

The NRSPP’s Utilities Forum 2.0 (UF2) Benchmarking Scheme, a world-first workplace national road safety risk mitigation initiative, was developed by a diverse group of utilities businesses following recognition that all drivers building & maintaining essential services infrastructure faced common risks. UF2 accelerates improvements through partners sharing initiatives across the utilities sector.
UF2 is a lead indicator research process designed to pinpoint leading risk factors from dozens of known risks and uncover ‘how and why’ these risks exist. This enables partner businesses to optimise mitigation effort and expenditure by removing the guesswork and assuring peace of mind in risk decision making.
UF2 partners have strong, trusted friendships with each where they no longer feel alone, rather they work together sharing insights and learnings to collectively get better at protecting their workers, company & community. A default from UF2 is the benchmarked collective data serves as evidence for reporting against the new Sustainability & ESG mandatory reporting standards which kicked off on January 1, 2025.
This webinar explores UF2 with insights from current partner businesses including 2024 host Hydro Tasmania, Essential Energy (NSW) & Energy Queensland. NRSPP is actively engaging road safety government departments and authorities nationally to promote UF2 as a national PPP, as road safety is everyone’s business.
