This report is the seventh in a series that estimates the number of workers and bystanders killed each year due to work-related injury. Because there is no single national data collection system that identifies all work-related injury fatalities, the exact number of people who die in any year as a result of work-related injuries in Australia is difficult to establish. To achieve the best estimate, Safe Work Australia examines three datasets that contain information on work-related fatalities.
